The Risk Register

Enterprise risk management

Risk management that stays audit-ready.

Log risks, score likelihood and impact, track mitigation actions, and monitor the indicators that give early warning, all linked together instead of scattered across spreadsheets and one-off documents.

Risk records are easy to write and hard to keep current

Risk registers live in spreadsheets

A spreadsheet with no owner, no history, and no link to the actions meant to reduce the risk. Nobody's sure which version is current.

Business impact analysis sits in a drawer

Written once for an audit, then disconnected from the risks and systems it was meant to inform. When something actually breaks, nobody reaches for it.

Key risk indicators go unwatched

Metrics that were meant to give early warning of a risk materialising are checked, if at all, only after the fact.

How it works

1

Identify and score

Log a risk with a category, an owner, and a likelihood/impact score. Track how the residual score changes as controls take effect.

2

Plan the mitigation

Attach actions with an owner and a status. Every update to a risk is timestamped, so you can see how the picture has changed over time.

3

Watch the leading indicators

Set a Key Risk Indicator with a target and a measurement frequency, and keep a running history of readings against it.

4

See the whole portfolio

The heat map plots every risk by likelihood and impact, so the risks that matter most are the ones that stand out.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a full GRC platform?

No, it's deliberately narrower: a risk register, business impact analysis, and key risk indicators in one place, built to stay current rather than to cover every governance framework. If you need a full enterprise GRC suite, this isn't trying to be that.

Can I link risks to the business functions and systems they affect?

Yes. Business functions carry recovery targets (RTO/RPO), the systems and suppliers they depend on, and the risks linked to them, so a single view shows what's exposed and why.

What does the heat map show?

Every risk plotted by likelihood and impact on a 5x5 grid, colour-coded by severity, with each cell linking straight through to the underlying risks.

Where is data stored?

In the EU, on the same infrastructure baseline (encryption, EU hosting) used across our products.

Does this replace legal or risk advisory services?

No. It helps you keep a clear, current record of risk; it is not a substitute for professional risk management or legal advice.
